BRAMAN - Always on the Move

Road to Germany

When it comes to the launch of a new vehicle or concept, an elite few get to experience it before the general public, and this past week Paul Montelbano from Braman Audi was lucky enough to get such an opportunity.  Audi extended the invitation to Braman Motorcars to send one Client Advisor to the launch of the all new Audi Q5 Hybrid at their corporate headquarters in Germany, and Paul was the selected individual. 

Paul was picked by Braman Audi management for his continued effort in providing the upmost customer satisfaction, consistently high sales numbers, and up to date with all certifications to make him a truly qualified Audi sales associate.

While in Germany Paul was able to tour the factory where several cars are built including the A4 and A5, and a total of 2,500 cars per day are manufactured.  Paul was given track time in some of Audi's exclusive vehicles including the new Q5 Hybrid, and was able to experience all of its power with top speed of 141 MPH, and 0-62MPH in 7.1 seconds.  In addition to the launch of the Q5 Hybrid, vehicles such as the Q3, RS5, S6, S7, S8, and All Road were available for viewing.

While one would think all this would be enough, it was not.  Paul was given an exclusive tour of the Audi museum where he was able to see the past, the present, and the future of the brand.  Paul was able to view the "Silver Hour" Audi's first car to break all land and speed records.

As Paul stated, "it was an amazing opportunity I was given, and appreciative of Braman Motorcars and their staff in allowing me this opportunity."




Teen Driving Experience
 
  

When you buy a car from Braman Motorcars not only do you get excellent customer service and premium brands, but you also get access to many Braman events. Whether it's our race track, polo, or fashion shows, and even product events we spoil our customers with only the best. We would like to announce a new event, in collaboration with Hooked on Driving we would are now proud to offer the Teen Driving Experience.  Our very first one will be held on Sunday August 21, 2011 at Palm Beach International Raceway from 9am to 1pm. The Purpose of the event is to provide a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations. Driving is done in the students own car to teach him/her about their vehicles handling limits and how to maintain control.  Certified driving coaches are in the car all day to instruct students in steering management, eye management and judging, seating and mirror position, distractions while driving, and brake management. This is not a high speed driving course, but is about safety and car control.

Fee amount -$250
Event runs from 9am-1pm
Drivers of all ages with a valid Driver's License or Learners Permit
Group is limited to Just 20 students.

2011 Braman Motorcars Summer Walk Around Competition

This past month at Braman Motorcars, competition was in the air, and it was by way of the first ever Hood and Trunk competition. 


From each of our seven brands, sales associates were pitted against each other to be voted on by their manager as stores' best, and compete in the 2011 Braman Motorcars Hood and Trunk Final. 

Each of the participants selected three hot button topics from a selection of eight, and had seven minutes to discuss the features and benefits, the Braman Motorcars advantage, warranty explanation, as well as address the three hot button topics.

Seven judges then rated each of the presentations based upon the above criteria, and in front of the entire sales staff of Braman Motorcars, the 2011 Braman Motorcars Summer Hood and Trunk award went to, Jay Rossow from Bentley and Rolls Royce.

Top Performers from all stores go head to head


 Braman Motorcars prides itself on having the very best staff of Client Advisors on hand to present product to our clients. The ability to present a luxury or performance automobile framed in a clear, concise and exciting presentation is a form of art.

During the month of July, all stores were tasked with judging the very best of their staff to pick a store finalist. Above are the winning Champions for their individual store. Their prize is a new iPad.

Next, these store Champions will compete head-to-head in the finals on Wednesday, August 27th at 11am in the Braman BMW Showroom in West Palm Beach. All are welcome to attend.

Judges will later view a videotaped presentation and score the Champions based on style, content, delivery and interest.
The winner will be crowned as the overall Braman Motorcars Champion, thereby winning a trophy and a all-expense paid stay to the luxurious Boca Resort.

Winners will be announced on August 1st.

Campaign racks up 1,100 likes on  Facebook.

Braman Motorcars, "Lets Get Social" campaign has been rocking the inter webs since our launch on January 20th 201. Our Facebook fan pages have attracted over 1,100 likes. Our own Social Media Page "The Braman Community" site has over 600 people joining us and engaging in news and the latest in pictures and information. We are also very pleased to announce that our twitter pages have over 250 people following them.

Now you might be asking yourself what the advantages are for getting social with Braman? We love providing our fans the latest news and information coming from within our dealership and our manufactures. Fans have the opportunity to engage in monthly contests to win prizes and engage in discussions about current topics.

The luxury car dealer made other recent investments that underscore Braman's dedication to improving their clients' experience. Race Legend Derek Bell makes Braman Track Event Appearance

Braman customers that participated in the Bentley Supersport track event got a big surprise when it turned out the legendary race driver Derek Bell was one of the instructors.

The group took all-new Bentley Supersport through the paces and got to feel the extreme performance side of Bentley with the superstar.

Derek Bell took up racing in 1964 with Lotus Seven. He graduated to Formula 3 in the following year in a Lotus 31 and in 1966 switched to a Lotus 41 scoring his first victory at Goodwood. In 1967 he enjoyed seven wins. He entered Formula 2 in a privateer Brabham BT23C fielded by his stepfather's Church Farm Racing team and had several promising performances, which caught Ferrari's eye and made his Grand Prix debut at Monza. In 1969 he raced at Silverstone with Ferrari and also raced the four-wheel-drive McLaren M9A in its only race in the British Grand Prix.

Bell was one of many drivers to take part in the filming of Le Mans (1970) starring Steve McQueen. Bell had a lucky escape during the making of the film. The Ferrari 512 he was driving suddenly caught fire whilst getting into position for a take. He managed to get out of the car just before it was engulfed in flames and suffered minor burns. The car was badly damaged but later rebuilt.

Bell was also a runner in the 1970 European Formula 2 Championship driving a March. In 1972 he got the drive in the Tecno F1 team, along with Nanni Galli. He won two World Sportscar Championship titles (1985-86), in the 24 Hours of Daytona  (1986-87 and 1989) and five victories but also built a strongat Le Mans (in 1975, 1981, 1982, 1986 and 1987),
 






 






 
mostly teamed with Jacky Ickx in one of the Porsche 936 and Porsche 956/Porsche 962 models. Ickx/Bell is nowadays considered as one of the most famous pairings in motorsport history. Bell was awarded the MBE in 1986 for services to motorsport.

Bell was hired to consult for the Bentley team in 2001, helping them to win Le Mans two years later. He now splits his time between the United States and Bognor Regis, and commentates on Formula One races which he has done for and drives in historic events, as well as performing an ambassadorial role for Porsche.
